Construction on 4th Street will add new sidewalks, curbs and gutters Submitted: 07/26/2013

TOMAHAWK - Construction on fourth street in Tomahawk will be adding new curbs and sidewalks.

The construction started last week between Somo Avenue and River Street.

The street has already been leveled.

Now, they're working on the sidewalks, curbs and gutters.

After that, they'll finish repaving the road and add decorative street lighting.

The job will cost more than a million dollars.

The road will be open in the first week of September.

But crews will keep working on landscaping and light poles after then.
