Hundreds run for the Lakeland PantrySubmitted: 07/20/2013
Story By Marisa Silvas

MINOCQUA - Beautiful scenery, exercise and a worthy cause. It was the perfect excuse to hit the trails in Minocqua today.

The 4th annual Bear Cupboard run brought out a record number of runners this morning. There was a 5K and half-marathon and close to $20,000 was raised for the Lakeland Pantry.

They serve over 5,000 area residents a month as well as donating to the Food for Kidz program.

We had a couple Newswatch 12'ers on hand. Lyndsey Stemm had a great run in the 5K and Lex Gray was the second fastest woman in the half marathon.
