Story By Associated Press

GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Packers are cutting the ribbon on the team's $146 million renovation and expansion project.

The team celebrates the completion of the south end with 7,000 additional seats, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday.

Other improvements include the ShopKo gate, new video boards, sound system, suites, viewing platforms and 30 new concession stands.

Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, and other local leaders will speak at the ceremony.

New season ticket holders have been invited to the event.

Those with seats in the new section will be able to try them out while Packer highlights roll on the video boards.

The renovation project began in 2011.
