Antigo defends Dist. 5 Little League crownSubmitted: 07/11/2013

WAUSAU - Little Leauge 11-12 year olds in Wausau. District 5 championship. Antigo the defending champs against Wausau National.

Top of the first, Antigo with a one run lead and bases loaded. Noah Orgeman (Or-geh-man) hits a grounder, Garrett Held comes home on the fielders choice. That put Antigo up 2-0.

Bottom of the 4th, Wausau National's Nick Adrian sends this one into the trees for the solo shot. It made it a one run game.

Later in the inning, Antigo pitcher Cody Urban ended a bases loaded threat with a strikeout.


Antigo would add six runs in the sixth inning to go on to win big, 9-1. They are headed to the state tournament in Waupun later this month.

PRICE COUNTY - By the late 1980s, the U.S. Forest Service knew it needed a new bridge to span the South Fork of the Flambeau River in Price County.
