MERRILL - Everybody knows the Northwoods is the place to be in the summer.

But knowing about ALL the great activities around the entire area can be hard.

Five Northwoods counties can now make that easier.

The department of tourism donated 15 thousand dollars to the group.

It includes Oneida, Vilas, Langlade, Lincoln and Forest Counties.

They'll use the money to create a unique website.

The group hopes it will bring a three percent increase for fall tourism.

"We took a little different spin on it by creating characters. We call them personality types that folks can actually click on to find their Northwoods personality type," said Chamber Executive Director, Debbe Kinsey.

"Then we put together itineraries for each of those different personality types for our counties and areas."
