MORRIS - Shawano County deputies dealt with a four hour standoff in the Town of Morris, Saturday.

A woman called the Shawano Sheriff's department around 8:30 Saturday evening.

She said a male family member came into her home and was causing a problem.

He also had a gun.

Somehow the woman was able to leave the house.

The Shawano County Special Response team brought in an armored vehicle from Brown County.

They tried to negotiate with the man but were unsuccessful.

So, the Special Response Team went into the home.

Shortly after that, the man came out of the front door and was taken into custody.

The Shawano County Sheriff's Department is investigating the incident.
