Police investigate two Milwaukee killingsSubmitted: 07/07/2013

MILWAUKEE - Police in Milwaukee are investigating two separate killings.

A suspect in one case is in custody Sunday.

Both happened on Saturday afternoon.

Officers responding to a call around noon found a 31-year-old man lying dead on the ground with gunshot wounds. No suspects were immediately arrested.

Just 30 minutes later, officers responding to a citizen's report of a stabbing found a 21-year-old woman with a stab wound.

She later died of her injury. The suspect is a 25-year-old woman whom police say had a confrontation with the victim.
