DOJ set for anti-heroin campaignSubmitted: 06/25/2013

MADISON - The state Department of Justice will launch an anti-heroin media campaign. It will also hand out grants to help local governments combat the drug.

The media push will include a statewide television and radio spot. It'll also create a website designed to warn young people about the drug.

The media campaign will launch in late summer or early fall.

The DOJ will also award more than $100,000 in grants. They'll go to local governments with wide-ranging ideas oh how to combat and treat heroin use.
