Lady golfers shoot for thousands to fight breast cancerSubmitted: 06/20/2013

ARBOR VITAE - This might be one of the more fun ways of beating breast cancer - out on the golf course.

A strong group of women got together today to help make a difference.

It's the4th annual Let's Tee Off Against Breast Cancer fundraiser.

84 ladies, many wearing pink, played in the 18 hole scramble at Trout Lake Golf Club.

It's the largest all female event of its kind in Northern Wisconsin.

They expected to raise $8,000 today, once everything was tallied.

All of the money will go to the Northwoods Patient Care Cancer Fund at Marshfield Clinic.
