Wausau Police arrest Mosinee man in connection to deadly crashSubmitted: 06/13/2013
Story By Lane Kimble

WAUSAU - When Michael Dixon died in a car crash in Wausau this spring, we learned it probably could have been prevented.

Police found Dixon was high on heroin at the time of the crash.

His 4-year-old son suffered severe head injuries and spent months in the hospital. But the story doesn't end there.

Wednesday, police arrested 22-year-old Kyle Kennedy of Mosinee. They think Kennedy gave or sold the heroin to Michael Dixon leading up to his crash.

Prosecutors are charging Kennedy with heroin delivery charges, obstructing an officer and bail jumping.

He'll make his initial appearance in Marathon County Court Friday. Wausau Police tell us they might file additional charges soon.

Dixon's son just left the hospital earlier this month. There's a Facebook page dedicated to his recovery. We have a link below.
