WAUSAU - We can now see video of the inmate attack that knocked a Marathon County jail officer unconscious.

The attack left Julie Christensen critically injured and in the hospital.

On March 27th, 20-year-old Fredrick Morris was told to go back to his jail cell after a meal.

He refused.

The video shows see two separate views of the attack.

The punch knocked her unconscious.

Morris remains in jail.

He's claiming he's not guilty because of mental disease.

Morris also attacked officer Denny Woodward moments after his attack on Christensen.

Since the attack, Marathon County formed a group of citizens to discuss ways to improve the understaffed jail.
