Crash Sends Two to HospitalSubmitted: 05/10/2013

NEWBOLD - Police don't know yet what caused a crash that sent two women to Ministry St. Mary's hospital tonight.

It happened just before 5:30 this evening on Highway 47 near Forest Lane, in Newbold. The crash involved a car, a pickup and a van.

"There were three cars involved in this accident. Two people were taken to the hospital. We don't know the extent of their injuries right now. At this time we don't know anything, the Sheriff's Department is investigating right now," says Newbold Fire Chief Tom Waydick.

Traffic had to be re-routed while crews moved the cars, but the highway was cleared by seven o'clock.
