Wisconsin Republicans Gather in Rothschild for State ConventionSubmitted: 05/03/2013
Story By Associated Press

ROTHSCHILD - Wisconsin's G-O-P Convention happens this weekend in Rothschild.

Governor Scott Walker and former Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan are among those speaking.

The two are potential presidential candidates in 20-16.

They will be joined by a host of other Republican office holders for the annual state convention.

Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus is delivering the keynote address.

Priebus is also the former state party chairman.

The meeting comes as Priebus is urging Republicans nationally to embrace recommendations in a study he released in March.

He called for the party to become more inclusive and reach out to Hispanics and other minority groups.

Priebus says he plans to focus on the report in his comments to Wisconsin Republicans at the meeting.
