Help Lincoln Co. Sheriff's Office Find Missing WomanSubmitted: 04/27/2013

MERRILL - The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office would like your help to find a missing woman.

They're looking for Anita Bucki, from the Town of Corning.

Her husband Mark reported she was last seen Friday morning. Bucki says he and Anita stayed up late talking, and then he went to bed.

He says when he got up early Friday morning she was gone, and all of her personal belongings, car, purse and cell phone were still in the house.

Anita is 5 feet tall, between 120 and 150 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing jeans, glasses and a red shirt.

TOMAH - After the death of several veterans, a review of the Tomah Veterans Affairs Medical Center finds "systemic failures".

A staff report by the Republican majority of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee was released Today.

It found the VA inspector general's office discounted evidence and testimony.

The report says the office also needlessly narrowed its inquiry.....and has no standard for measuring wrongdoing.

The report says the office's failure to publish results of an investigation into the Tomah facility "compromised veteran care."

It also says a culture of fear and whistleblower retaliation continues at the facility.

VA inspectors in 2014 found that doctors were over-prescribing painkillers.

The deaths of three patients remain under investigation.

The Daily News of Iron Mountain reports a judge on Tuesday granted a prosecutor's request to have 33-year-old Kelly Cochran evaluated.

Oconto County Sheriff Michael Jansen says the search of Pine Acres Golf Course in Abrams Tuesday morning hasn't turned up anything.

MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee police are looking for two suspects who were in a stolen vehicle that crashed into a car and killed two people, including a young boy.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victims Tuesday as 46-year-old Danielle Triggs and 8-year-old Taeshawn Griffin. Triggs died in Friday's crash. Griffin died Sunday at Children's Hospital.
