Medford man accused of forcing sex with at least two underage girlsSubmitted: 04/26/2013
Story By Lane Kimble

MEDFORD - A Taylor County man already faces arson charges for burning down his failing business.

Now, he's in even bigger trouble - for even bigger crimes.

Prosecutors say 45-year-old David Johnson of Medford had sex with at least two girls under the age of 18. One of those girls was just 14 at the time.

The criminal complaints say Johnson forced sex with a 17-year-old girl several times in summer 2012. The girl was living as a guest in the same house as Johnson.

Then, a 14-year-old girl said she was babysitting for Johnson's son last fall and fell asleep. When she woke up, she says Johnson had taken her clothes off and was having sex with her.

Johnson faces a felony count of second degree sexual assault of a child. He also faces two misdemeanors for having sex with a child over the age of 16.

He'll be in court for those offenses Tuesday.
