Area Martial Artists earn HOF HonorsSubmitted: 04/25/2013
Story By Marisa Silvas

RHINELANDER - For many athletes, the pinnacle of their careers is getting inducted into the Hall of Fame. Some local martial arts received that honor last weekend.

Four men from Beyond Martial Arts in Rhinelander, traveled to Indianapolis to be recognized.

Jeff and Eric Borchardt, Zach Breneman and John Nevins were all nominated into the U.S. Martial Arts Hall of Fame. Their studio has more people in the Hall than any other school in the MidWest.

They all enjoyed the experience and are proud of their accomplishments.

"It's an awesome experience," says Breneman - a winner of the Junior Instructor of the Year award. "You just get exposed to all different types of martial arts, all different types of people."
