Brewers win streak ends in 2-1 lossSubmitted: 04/24/2013
Story By Joe Dufek

SAN DIEGO - The Brewers' nine-game winning streak came to an end against the Padres, despite putting the tying run on second base in the ninth inning.

However with two outs, Martin Maldonado of the Brewers was called out on a foul ball. It was ruled interference because the umpire ruled Maldonado had both feet out of the batters box.

San Diego won the game 2-1. However, the Brewers won their third straight series.

Milwaukee begins a weekend series against the L.A. Dodgers in L.A. Game one is Friday.
