DNR's Hunting Survey Ends FridaySubmitted: 04/11/2013
Story By Joe Dufek

RHINELANDER - Time is running out for Northwoods Deer hunters to have their opinions heard.

The DNR has a survey out. They're looking for feedback from last fall's hunt.

Earlier this year, the DNR held Deer Hunters Forum meeting across the state. But if you were unable to attend, you can fill out a brief survey. The deadline is Friday.

State wildlife and other hunting officials want your input to help make improvements for future hunts.

"You get to say how many deer you saw, whether or not it was worse than other years," says DNR Wildlife Biologist Jeremy Holtz. "It's a great opportunity for us to get feedback from folks who were unable to attend those (Deer hunters Forum) meetings."
