Falcons Win GLHL TournamentSubmitted: 04/07/2013
Story By Marisa Silvas

EAGLE RIVER - Yesterday we told you the Eagle River Falcons hockey team was competing in the GLHL end of the year tournament. Today we're happy to report they're champions.

The Falcons won the final game this afternoon 5-4 against Madison.

It's the first time the Falcons have taken home the trophy since the 1993-94 season. Josh Calleja had a hat trick in today's game and Lee Satran had a strong performance in goal.

Falcons captain Bob McDonald told me it was an all around great team effort and that the players would like to thank their fans for the amazing support this season.
