Signs of Spring: Briq's Soft Serve Opens Submitted: 03/29/2013
Story By Lex Gray

RHINELANDER - Melting snow, green trees, baby animals - those all remind us spring is on the way.

But there's one sure sign spring is definitely here - Briq's Soft Serve flipped on the "open" sign today.

Marv Coleman manages Briq's Rhinelander. Last year, he opened up on March 12, the earliest ever.

"Unfortunately not this year, but I thank all the people for coming out and braving the cold weather," he said. "It's good to see all the people back again, the regulars and also some new ones."
