Nicolet College Offers Free Help with New TechnologySubmitted: 03/14/2013
Story By Lyndsey Stemm

RHINELANDER - Technology should make your life easier. But with a new gadget coming out every day it can be hard to keep up.

That's why Nicolet College offers "Tech Talks" classes to the community. They're designed to help people who are uncomfortable with new technology. Whether it's figuring out a new toy or just wanting to learn how to use software, they can tell you how at "Tech Talks".

"A lot of parents receiving gifts from their children and not knowing how to use them. Especially after Christmas what we were running was, 'Now that I have it how do I use it'. Basically a lot of people that come to these don't know how to use what they have; the potential that's there," says Todd Mountjoy, the Nicolet College Library Director.

Classes are open to anyone in the community, and they're free. The last spring session is April 11th. You can bring any technology question.
