TOMAHAWK - We saw two workers die last summer after they were burned at a Northwoods manufacturing plant.

Tuesday, another worker was severely burned at the Packaging Corporation of America Plant in Tomahawk.

53-year-old Michael Slesicki of Tomahawk was trying to reignite a coal-fired boiler when he got burned.

It happened around 9:45 this morning at the plant on County Road E.

Emergency responders took Slesicki to Ministry Sacred Heart Hospital with severe burns.

They then flew him to the burn unit at UW Madison Hospital.

His condition is unknown. Slesicki has worked at PCA for 9 years.
