Clark's Renewal to have ConditionsSubmitted: 02/26/2013
Story By Newswatch 12 Sports

EAGLE RIVER - After a 5-hour School Board Meeting on Monday night - Ryan Clark will return as the Northland Pines boys basketball coach.

Clark's contract was renewed for one year. That is the standard length for all Pines coaches.

Around 70 people came to the meeting. The majority supported Clark.

District Admisitrator Mike Richie told Newswatch 12 the possible change had nothing to do with wins and losses.

Newswatch 12 obtained a letter sent to Richie back in December. Alligations in the letter claimed "too many practices both morning and night" and "the screaming and yelling" at players.

Richie adds the board has direct adminisitration to add stipulations and expectations. That's to address potential concerns. Richie says it's been done in the past.
