MEDFORD - A threat at Medford Area Senior High Thursday sent the district and law enforcement into high alert.

Tonight we can tell you police have made an arrest.

Police haven't told us yet what the threat was, but Medford high school staff found it in a girls bathroom at the end of the school day Thursday.

Police and sheriff's deputies searched every student entering the school Friday. The district gave parents the option to keep their kids home. Only about a quarter of enrolled students were there Friday.

District Administratior Pat Sullivan said police made an arrest, and the district and police no longer feel student safety is in question.

He looks forward to all Medford students returning to school Monday and getting things back to normal.

But the falling didn't stop Collar from falling in love with the sport.
