Prentice, Three Lakes advance in Boys Hoops RegionalsSubmitted: 02/19/2013

PRENTICE, THREE LAKES - Regionals got underway in boys basketball Tuesday night. In Division 5, Prentice hosted Owen-Withee. The Buccaneers jumped out to an eight point lead in front of the home crowd and never looked back, winning 70-60.

Travis Judell led Prentice with 24 points. Prentice travels to Turtle Lake in Friday's regional semifinal.

Also on Tuesday, Three Lakes opened their Division 5 regional run at home. The host Bluejays rolled over Florence 59-47.


Three Lakes faces Niagara Friday night on the road in the regional semifinals.

In Division 2, Merrill nipped Mosinee 41-40. With the win, Merrill travels to Rhinelander. The Hodags are the top-seed in the regional. Their showdown will also be played on Friday.
