Girl Loses Family in Crash near Wausau Submitted: 02/15/2013
WAUSAU - A five year old girl survived, but lost three family members in yesterday's crash near Wausau.

34 year old Roy Kato, 34 year old Jenny Kato, and 13 year old Joshua Kato died in the crash.

They were from Oklahoma.

Five year old Brooke Kato was taken to Aspirus Wausau hospital with non-life threatening juries.

Police say the Kato's car slid across the center line in the town of Maine about 8:30 yesterday morning.

It was hit broadside by an oncoming car driven by a Schofield man.

He was also taken to Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Roads were slippery yesterday morning, and that's thought to have been one of the reasons the crash happened.
