Forest County Potawatomi invests $25,000 in FCEDPSubmitted: 02/05/2013
Story By Jaymee Toller

CRANDON - People looking to start up a business will get a big boost from a Northwoods tribe.

The Forest County Potawatomi Foundation invested in a $25,000 dollar grant through the Forest County Economic Development Partnership.

The money will go to the FCEDP's Revolving Loan Fund.

Micro-loan funds will help entrepreneurs start businesses. They will also get business counseling.

The grant matches donations already made by CoVantage Credit Union and Laona State Bank.

The grant's goal is to help create permanent jobs in Forest County.

Tribal members and other Forest County residents can begin applying for grant money later this spring.
