Two Dead in School Bus, Car CrashSubmitted: 01/26/2013
NEW LONDON - A school bus crash leaves two dead and four injured Friday night.

The crash happened in Waupaca County, near New London around 10 o'clock last night.

The bus carried 39 children and two adults. It collided with a car carrying two teenagers.

Seventeen-year-olds Levi Johnson, and Yalanda Maggio were pronounced dead at the scene. Three children and the bus driver were treated for minor injuries.

Police think slippery roads may have been a factor. The car passengers who died were not wearing seat belts.

MADISON - Many people carry a tracking device everywhere they go, without realizing it.

Now the Wisconsin Supreme Court has sided with police in two separate cases where cellphone data was used to track suspects.

The court's rulings Thursday came in a pair of homicide cases in Milwaukee and Kenosha counties.

Police in both cases used data from the suspects' cellphone providers to find them.

Snowshoe baseball's been entertaining crowds since the 1960's. But over at the concession stand, the pie takes center stage.

Strawberry rhubarb, banana butterscotch pie, blueberry pie, rocky road and coconut cream are just a few of the creations. "I like making ones that I think will appeal to the crowd," says Linda Penno.

GREEN BAY - The only publicly owned team in U.S. professional sports is holding its annual shareholders meeting.

The Green Bay Packers are expecting more than 12,000 shareholders Thursday for the meeting at Lambeau Field. The Packers have about 364,000 owners.

The meeting is held in the open bowl of Lambeau. Shareholders will vote for three nominees to the board of directors, Associated Banc-Corp CEO Philip Flynn, Schreiber Foods CEO Michael Haddad and University of Wisconsin-Madison's Dr. Elizabeth Trowbridge.

ONEIDA COUNTY - Leaders in Oneida County want to know what you think of boathouses and piers on lakes in the county. The online survey they've put together could give them better information on the issues.

Planning and zoning workers say the two topics have been debated for years. The county started allowing boathouses and regulating piers in 2000.

The board looked at both topics a year ago, but didn't take any action to change current rules.

LAKE TOMAHAWK - Wounded warriors won't let their injuries stop them from playing softball this weekend.

The Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team will travel to Lake Tomahawk to play the Lake Tomahawk Snowhawks this weekend.

The Lake Tomahawk Snowshoe Baseball Team needed to raise $40,000 to bring the team to Lake Tomahawk.

They also had to renovate the field.
