DNR Hires Liason to Work With TribesSubmitted: 01/23/2013

MADISON - The DNR's new tribal liason wants to build good relationships with the tribes.

The DNR says Shelly Allness will take the position.

She'll be in charge of coordinating contacts with the tribes and fostering good relationships.

Allness recently served as the tribal liason for the Wisconsin Tourism department.

She's a native of Oshkosh.

Her new duties with the DNR begin January 28th.
