Story By Newswatch 12 Newsteam

VILAS COUNTY - A snowmobiler may have been drinking before slaming into a tree in Vilas County.

The sheriff's department got word of the crash about 10:20 last night from a Bo Boen Snowmobile club trail groomer.

The snowmobiler left trail 6 near Content Lake road and hit the tree.

The rider was taken to Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff.

Police think alcohol use was one of the reasons for the crash.
