RHINELANDER - Piles of clutter in a Rhinelander basement helped fuel a big house fire this afternoon.
The home is on Carr Street, just off Lincoln Street.
Fire departments were called around one o' clock this afternoon to fight the fire.
"The fire started in the basement. The basement is full of debris, clutter. We could not make our way into the basement because of everything that's down there. We couldn't advance to the scene of the fire. Therefore, the fire advanced to the first and second floors," said Rhinelander Fire Chief Terry Williams.
One person was in the house, but got out with minor injuries.
People in Rhinelander could see the smoke from many parts of the city.
The fire department isn't yet sure what caused the fire.
MINOCQUA - “This disease is called the great imitator for a good reason,” says Jeff Waite.
Lyme disease can be good at hiding.
“Lyme disease is a bacterial type infection spread by a spiral keet, which is also considered a parasite. And it can be carried in the spit glands and intestinal track of ticks in this area. Particularly the deer tick," said Dr. Kurt Landauer.
