Three-car crash backs up traffic on Hwy 8Submitted: 01/16/2013
Story By Ryan Michaels

RHINELANDER - Wednesday morning's light dusting of snow could be to blame for an accident on Highway 8 near Rifle Road in Rhinelander.

Three cars were involved in the wreck around 8:30 AM. Thankfully, there were no injuries.

They were all going in the same direction down Highway 8 toward Rhinelander.

The accident was described as "a chain reaction" causing a truck to swerve off the road and into the ditch.

Traffic was filtered down to one lane near Rifle road until the accident was cleaned up.

Police requested extra salt for the road.
