MINOCQUA - A Minocqua church wants to break down divisions between Native Americans and non-natives in the Northwoods.

The congregation at St. Matthias Church in Minocqua said addressing racial tensions in the community is a top priority.

This new logo helps emphasize that.

The logo is now part of a decal available for free in the Minocqua and Lac du Flambeau areas.

The design was the winner of a contest started by St. Matthias last spring.

St. Matthias says it wants to promote acceptance, love, welcome, and peace to people of all races.

The decal is available for free at the church and at the Woodland Art Center in Lac du Flambeau.
