Culver's Under New Ownership Submitted: 01/09/2013

RHINELANDER - But don't worry, your butter burgers and custard will be as good as ever!

Josh and Jennifer Clark are the new owners of Culver's on Kemp Street in Rhinelander.

They're excited to get to know the community.

The Clarks may be new to the area, but Jennifer has a little history here.

She bought this business from her grandfather.

And her great-grandfather's family established the Rhinelander Pub and Cafe in 1911.

"To be a strong supporter of everyone that does live here and we're looking forward to putting our roots down here." said Jennifer. "So we hope to grow customer base and loyalty."

Jennifer's husband grew up in a small town as well.


Family is his top priority, but employees, customers and the community are all important too.

"It's really nice to know who your providing for. We have 30 employees here." Josh said. "You're providing a lot of livelihood as well so it's very gratifying."

The Clarks will show off the restaurant's new interior at a grand opening in May.

In the meantime, they are open for business.

This time every year, the Mercer Lioness Club puts together the Christmas party. The Lioness Club donates food and other baked goods.

RHINELANDER - Mr. and Mrs. Claus joined Rhinelander families on Saturday for the annual Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting.

The theme of this year's parade was "Rhinelander: Home for the Holidays." 

Families enjoyed watching the parade of floats and taking pictures with Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
