NEW LONDON - The State Patrol hopes to figure out why an Antigo woman crashed head on with a semi yesterday afternoon in Waupaca County.

45-year-old Carrie Oreskovic was killed in the crash. She was driving north on highway 45 near New London when her Jeep crashed head on with a semi-truck driving south.

Medics took Oreskovic to Theda Clark Medical Center in Appleton where she died from her injuries.

The driver of the semi was not injured.

The State Patrol is reconstructing the crash to figure out what exactly went wrong.
