Antigo Driver Killed in Waupaca County Car Crash
NEW LONDON - The State Patrol hopes to figure out why an Antigo woman crashed head on with a semi yesterday afternoon in Waupaca County.

45-year-old Carrie Oreskovic was killed in the crash. She was driving north on highway 45 near New London when her Jeep crashed head on with a semi-truck driving south.

Medics took Oreskovic to Theda Clark Medical Center in Appleton where she died from her injuries.

The driver of the semi was not injured.

The State Patrol is reconstructing the crash to figure out what exactly went wrong.

RHINELANDER - Chris Sandstrom knows that, like hockey, his task is all about precision.

"Trying to guess this doesn't work too well," said Sandstrom, kneeling on the ground at Rhinelander Ice Arena on Tuesday morning.

Sandstrom and a small crew have spent the last two days carefully preparing every inch of the rink.

"You can't make a mistake. If you make a mistake, it can't be redone," he said.
