CRANDON - The Crandon Cardinals wrestling team is making strides early on this season.
Last weekend, Crandon finished second at the Hatchet Invite in Tomahawk. Hayden Krueger - who wrestled at state last year - won the event's 145 pound title. He pinned everyone he faced. He's ranked #3 in the state among D-3 wrestlers
He was one of three Cardinals to win their respective weight classes. Carter Shampo (132 lb.) and Chase Tupper (152 lb.) also earned championships for Crandon at the event.
Alot of off-season work in the weight room - has helped gain some victories for the Cardinals.

Lyme disease can be good at hiding.
“Lyme disease is a bacterial type infection spread by a spiral keet, which is also considered a parasite. And it can be carried in the spit glands and intestinal track of ticks in this area. Particularly the deer tick," said Dr. Kurt Landauer.
