Lincoln County Annex Gets New DigsSubmitted: 12/10/2012

TOMAHAWK - The Lincoln County Annex will have a new home in Tomahawk in 2013.

It will move from its current location in an old hotel to the 200 block of West Wisconsin Avenue in Tomahawk.

The annex houses agencies that provide economic support, food pantry vouchers, and assist people on probation and parole.

Also located there, the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Central Wisconsin and the North Central Community Action program.

Child sex-related crimes send Rhinelander man to jailSubmitted: 09/19/2014

RHINELANDER - A Rhinelander man inappropriately touched a young girl this May.

The victim was younger than 10 years old.

Blaine Ciardo admitted his actions and apologized in Oneida County Court on Friday. But Ciardo will spend another year in jail. He has spent almost four months in jail so far.
