TOWN OF BIRCH - A fire in Lincoln County left one man without a home Saturday night. It happened at 6979 Grundy Road in the town of Birch, south of Tomahawk.

Sheriff's deputies and firefighters responding to the 911 call found smoke and flames coming from a trailer home.

The homeowner, Kenny Gano, believes the fire may have been electrical, and started in a wall.

Gano was able to safely leave the house, but his home was a total loss. He told deputies he had no insurance on the home.
