ANTIGO - Last season, the Antigo Red Robins captured their 4th straight Great Northern Conference championship. It was a long and emotional season. During the year, Antigo Athletic Driector Tom Kislow passed away after a bout with cancer. The Red Robins attended Kislow's funeral the day of the section final, a loss to Onalaska.
The team had 5 seniors, including four starters graduate from last year's club. That means, it could be some learning lessons for the Red Robins. But Head Coach Jesse Shaw knows the players who are here have already learned more away from the basketball floor than he could have taught his young team.
"Two things we teach at our program, striving to win games and life lessons," Antigo Head Coach Jesse Shaw said. "Losing our AD and realizing our precious life is, and attending his funeral on the day of the section final is something our kids will never forget."
MINOCQUA - “This disease is called the great imitator for a good reason,” says Jeff Waite.
Lyme disease can be good at hiding.
“Lyme disease is a bacterial type infection spread by a spiral keet, which is also considered a parasite. And it can be carried in the spit glands and intestinal track of ticks in this area. Particularly the deer tick," said Dr. Kurt Landauer.
