Oconto County Man Suspected of Setting FiresSubmitted: 10/16/2012
OCONTO COUNTY - Officials say a 28 year old Suring man has confessed to setting six fires in Oconto County and he may be connected to more.

Drew Christensen has been charged in a January garage fire and an August 2011 trailer home fire. Both were in the Town of Bagley.

No one was inside the garage or trailer home when the fires started.

But according to the complaint, Christensen admitted to six fires altogether, including at two bars and a church.

The complaint says he also caused fires in other counties but the specifics are not listed.

Oconto County District Attorney Jon Evans says the Department of Justice is investigating whether Christensen is responsible for any of the 40 unsolved fires in the area.
