Tentative Recall Dates Set Submitted: 03/13/2012
MADISON - A tentative agreement would set May 8 and June 5 for recall elections against Gov. Scott Walker and five other Republicans.

Tuesday, lawmakers for the state elections board, recall committees and recall targets agreed to that timeline. All three are scheduled to appear before a Dane County judge Wednesday to get approval.

If there are no extensions, any primary election would be May 1 and the general election would be May 29. Under the deal, if primaries are required they would be held on May 8 with a general election a month later on June 5.

Dane County Circuit Judge Richard Niess will consider the dates Wednesday.
