- The Packers completed their second week of organized team activities this past week.
Green Bay is using some new drills too.
That's because the wide receiving squad has a new coach.
Luke Getsy is using bricks, Nerf balls, and juggling as tools for drills.
The Packers wide receiving core struggled last year.
Randall Cobb thinks the new mentality will help.
"Yeah new coach, new little instruments you add to the whole deal," Cobb said. "Luke's been great, he's brought in a whole lot of new things, he's brought a whole lot of new thoughts to us and different ways to view what we're trying to accomplish."
The Packers should also be able to accomplish more with a healthy Jordy Nelson.
He tore his ACL last season.
Nelson was on the field Thursday taking some passes from Aaron Rodgers.
"It's big, there's little things that you can always work on, whenever you get an opportunity to be here," Nelson said. You make changes in your offense every year and defense tweaks here and there so you need to be able to know those, it helps you to refresh and get your mind on the play book and on the game."
The Packers will hold another week of OTAs this week.
