Police arrest suspect in armed robberySubmitted: 06/02/2015
WESTON - Police think they caught the man who held up a Weston business.

Officers were called to the Sugar Shack ice cream parlor on Ross Avenue Sunday night.

A man came through the back door of the business just after 9:30.

He was masked, and armed with a knife and what looked like a gun.

He escaped with some cash.

Police checked further on a car that had been seen in the area with a juvenile girl inside.

The car was found a short time later in Wausau with the girl inside, as well as a man matching the description of the suspect.

After being interviewed, police tell us the girl implicated 20 year old Thomas McKay of Wausau in the robbery.

McCay is expected in court today.
