Wisconsin gets more help with energy costs Submitted: 01/30/2014
Washington, DC - Wisconsin will get more than $14 million to help with energy costs. The Department of Health and Human Services announced plans to release more than $450 million in funding for states across the country. The funding come from the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program. The move is in response to skyrocketing propane costs. Cold temperatures and a wet fall farming season caused high demand for propane. Prices for the heating source still sit near record highs. Propane dealers believe prices should drop by the beginning of February.
