Some wineries want to allow minors to tour without a parent Submitted: 01/23/2014
Madison - Just because you can't drink yet doesn't mean you might not be curious about how wine is made.

Wisconsin wineries are lobbying for a bill that allows minors to tour their establishments without a parent.

The Wisconsin Winery Association says it would allow children to see how wine is made, even if they don't get to taste it.

Current law says children can't tour a winery without a parent. Minors can tour a brewery even if you're too young to legally drink beer.

Those under 21 just can't sample the product.
