- Clay Matthews is moving on from the 49ers game as only he can.
The Packers' pass-rushing linebacker says he's focused on preparing for Robert Griffin III and the Washington Redskins in the home opener Sunday.
Reporters pressed him with questions anyway related to San Francisco and the late hit on Colin Kaepernick. Asked if he had received word from the NFL on a potential fine, Matthews said he wasn't going to discuss the topic.
He had no reaction to stinging criticism from 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh about the sideline tussle with Joe Staley that followed the hit on Kaepernick.
Asked if he considered himself a ``dirty player,'' Matthews tried again to move on to Redskins talk. He then joked that he was ``an awesome player, not a dirty player.''
