Suter's Magic Season Ends at Frozen Four Submitted: 04/11/2013
PITTSBURGH - Lac du Flambeau native Jake Suter (Soo-ter) reached college hockey's biggest stage - the Frozen Four. His father Gary played 17 seasons in the NHL. #28 Suter and UMASS-Lowell faced Yale in the semifinals on Thursday. Game went to overtime, Yale's Andrew Miller scored the game-winner. Lowell fell 3-2 in overtime. Earlier this week, Jake spoke to Newswatch 12 by telephone. He says his Northwoods roots have served him well in hockey.
