- With the spring thaw at hand, Wisconsin utility officials are reminding people to dial in before digging. The Public Service Commission says digging without knowing the location of pipelines, wires and cables can cause harm, service interruptions and expensive repairs. They say many digging accidents result from homeowners failing to check for underground obstacles.
