Weigh in on DNR Regulations at Conservation Hearings Submitted: 03/31/2013
Madison - The Wisconsin Conservation Congress is gearing up for another round of annual spring hearings next month.

It's a group of influential sportsmen who advise the DNR on policy. Every April it holds hearings in all 72 counties for people to vote on suggested changes to DNR regulations.

This year's hearings are scheduled for April 8.

People can weigh in on changing sturgeon spearing hours; allowing motor trolling statewide; allowing the use of rifles for deer hunting statewide; and overnight placement of stands and blinds on DNR-owned and managed land.
